It is inconceivable that in 2022 Europe we have to write such a post on LinkedIn.
But we are now 13 days into the Russian Government’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine - an act of terror that threatens Europe at large - and our hearts continue to go out to our Ukrainian friends, family members and colleagues.
One of our key values is being a “People’s Company”, that’s why we strongly condemn this aggression. BetGames is proud of all our talented people around the globe, independent of their nationality.
To help where we can, we have created a €25,000 direct support and donation fund, and provide legal, mental health and compassionate leave support for our directly affected people.
Yesterday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken assured Lithuania of NATO protection. It is a welcome reassurance, but one that doesn’t diminish our fears for Ukraine. BetGames will continue to give support to our Ukrainian colleagues, their families and loved ones, and we stand as one in our condemnation of the sickening events currently taking place in Ukraine.
SBC Awards 2022. We have been shortlisted!
Thank you for the recognition, SBC! With a little good fortune, this year at the SBC Awards, BetGames will pick up two more valued trophies: one for Leader of the Year (BetGames CEO Dr. Andreas Köberl has been nominated), and another for Live Casino Supplier of the Year.
We can’t wait for what is always one of our favourite events, the SBC Summit Barcelona, held in September.
The UK's Gambling Future
Should a General Election be called? Or four gambling industry heavyweights talking about the UK’s gambling future? BetGames CEO Dr. Andreas Köberl was one of Gambling News’ guests invited to add his expertise.
“It may sound bold, but I project Germany will overtake the UK and become number one in the next 3-5 years.”

SBEA+ Online Casino Provider Award 2022 - Shortlisted!
BetGames has been shortlisted for the 2022 Online Casino Provider Award from Sports Betting East Africa. The winner will be announced today, the final day of SBEA in Tanzania.
The event, which is being attended by James Everett, BetGames VP of Sales, Africa, is in its eighth year and has so far been a fantastic gathering - and one where many have been interested in T-Basket, the first game from Twain Sport and exclusive to BetGames.
Best Live Casino Provider in the Baltics 2022
Winners were selected attending delegates at the MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit, which was held in our hometown of Vilnius.
This was a special event for us for another reason, too. BetGames CEO Dr. Andreas Köberl, joined a panel discussion about how you “stand out from the crowd.” Which was the perfect venue for us to discuss our plans to diversify our product portfolio. Real change is coming to live sports entertainment!
